Flossie was so great at keeping in touch and updating the family of all the news within the community and family. Flossie will always hold a special place in our hearts. My sympathy to all of you. Florence was a wonderful person. She made such a contribution to her community and church. I remember her visiting one time I was home, talking mainly about our passion teaching. She was a born teacher and made a great contribution to education.. May her rest this day be in peace and her dwelling place the habitation of God.

Barry, Wanda and Janet, Paul and I send our condolences to you and your families.
Flossie played a big part in my life from school principal, to school teacher, to horse whisperer and mentor. In the later years she always made a point of contacting me when she came to PEI for her summer visit. Those visits got me caught up on ALL the Little Narrows news.
She was a lovely lady who has earned her rest.

Condolences to all the family. Flossie was a great community member and an awesome teacher. She leaves a certain void here as a facilitator to all seniors. The empathy felt for families who witness their loved ones living with Alzheimer's extends beyond grief.
I remember getting a fresh crew cut for school and having a bunch of my classmates picking on the look..She took me aside and explained that we all should have crewcuts and how these cuts were really in style, (when they were actually going out of style). :o)
