John D. Langley
In 1972, John became the first employee hired by Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Ltd. He is licensed as a Funeral Director and Embalmer and is the current owner, having purchased the company in 2001.
Craig A. MacLean
Craig joined the company part-time in 1989 at the age of 16. He graduated from NSCC with the Funeral Directing and Embalming course in 1993, and has been employed full-time since as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
Steven MacIntosh
Steven joined the company in 2011, having graduated from Mt. Royal University in Calgary where he studied Funeral Directing and Embalming. He is currently employed as a licensed Funeral Director.
Martin Flood
Martin was employed as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Grand Falls-Windsor in Newfoundland for several years, before joining Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Ltd. in 2004. He has been employed with the company since as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
Joni Lee Thompson
Joni Lee joined the company in 2020 as an apprentice. She completed her training and was hired full-time in 2022. She is currently employed as a licensed Funeral Director.
Clem Munroe
Clem was licensed as a Funeral Director in 1993, and he joined Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Ltd. in 2005. He is currently employed part-time as a licensed Funeral Director.
Gerald Lumsden
Gerald joined the company in 1986 as a caretaker. Besides caring for the property in Canso, he also assists in helping with visitations, and conducting funerals.
Sharon Burke
Sharon became a licensed Funeral Director with the company in 2004. Sadly, Sharon lost her battle with cancer on April 10, 2007. She was a wonderful person and is missed by all here at Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Ltd. and by all who knew her.
