Carl worked hard his entire life and had many different jobs from CN Rail and Good Year Tire in his early years to finally settling in his beloved Port Shoreham and focusing on running his own business cutting pulpwood, firewood, general trucking and contracting garbage collection with the Town of Mulgrave for nearly 30 years.
Carl had strong faith in his creator and was an avid vegetable gardener, planting enough potatoes, carrots and turnip to see him through each winter. He had little time for idle hands unless it was playing crib or poker with his life long friends. Sunday nights in Port Shoreham will never be the same.
