Having lived in West Bay Road I knew Peggy and the entire Mac Donald family since I was 7 years old. They treated us so well.Peggy was always such a cut up. One just never knew what she would come out with, but no matter you were guaranteed a laugh. The last time I saw Peggy was at a reunion where she greeted me with one of her favourite lines. Sure wish I could repeat it here. It was a Peggy Classic.

I lived in West Bay Road until I was 8. Peggy and the rest of her family were a big part of our lives. Katie Bell was with my mother when I was born. The twins were always ready to play with us younger kids and Tommy was a good friend. Peggy was fortunate to have such a caring, loving family. While I didn’t know Peggy as an adult, I heard lots of stories about her from my sister Lorna, always with a laugh. My sincere condolences to Peggy’s family.

I grew up with Peggy and her siblings and have great memories of how wonderful they all were to "us" kids in West Bay Road.
We ate lots of meals and watched television at Collie Sandy's. It was good times for sure.
I can't help remembering Peggy's sense of humor when she worked with us at the pulp mill. We would be working (overtime) and Peggy would have us in stitches regaling us with stories. Her expressions were priceless, especially the off color ones, some of which I adopted.
I know you never saw Peggy without her hair done and she talked incessantly about how she loved to eat, always with a story to go along. She loved her family very much and always talked about them with pride.
Our love and sympathy to all of Peggy's family. She was a very special friend.
