I first met Lorraine when she began doing baptismal preparations at St. Paul's in Havre Boucher, This is when our friendship began. I will remember her favorite foods, donairs from Pizza Delight, cretons which she first was introduced to in Montreal when she was a sister, and cheese biscuits on my many visits. We would share tea from Tim's and she would tell me so many stories. She loved her mother and father and was so proud of the people they had become. She spoke about her Al and how she looked after him when he became ill. She said she and Al were snowbirds and enjoyed their many trips to Florida. She would say how lucky she was to have met Al and his music was second to none. She loved dogs, especially her dog Cookie and loved swimming in the summer at Port Hood Beach, she longed to go again but it was impossible as she was declining in health. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and I will miss her many, many phone calls. She had a great love for Fr. Peter and Fr. Allan and on the day she died she asked to talk to Fr. Allan to say goodbye. I asked her where are you going? she replied without hesitation, she was going to Heaven. And even when she was passing away she said that God had been good to her in her 92 years. May you fly among the angels free from all the hurt and suffering you endured in this life. I miss you already. your BFF Mary

May she rest in peace. I met Lorraine in my teens (around 1975) in Hamilton, ON and heard her tell the story of her healing. She left such an impression on me that my life was forever changed. I just heard about her passing and wanted to give her family my condolences. (Her brother Nick and his wife Theresa were my aunt and uncle).
