Obituary of Clarence Albert Creamer

We regret to announce the passing of Clarence Albert Creamer, age 85 which occurred at home on Thursday, April 13, 2023. He was born in Phillips Harbour, the son of the late Harvey and Beulah Creamer (Greencorn). He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Clarence is survived by his wife of 28 years, Bernadette Creamer (Rossong) and son, Darcy; sisters-in-law Beth Creamer, Cynthia Creamer; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Ed, Harold, Gordon; sister Mabel and a sister in infancy.

Clarence was a down to earth person and enjoyed spending time with his friends, whether he knew them for a life time or five minutes. He enjoyed fishing and playing around in the woodpile and a good game of crib was always welcomed.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 5th from 2-9 pm in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service will take place Saturday, May 6th at 11am from the Canso United Baptist Church with Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery, Queensport. Reception to follow at Queensport firehall. Family flowers only please. Donations would be greatly appreciated to the family to assist with upcoming costs.
