Hello from the Kennedy family. We have both lost our Mom's this year. In fact, we have lost 4 Mom's from the neighbourhood in 12 months, Edie Cluett, Jane Palmer and our Mom's.
June was such a wonderful lady. She would always have time for a catch-up chat when I would come home for holidays. She worked non-stop around her yard it seemed. She and Sam were so much a part of the neighbourhood. The Stirlings, Palmers, Johnston's and Kennedy's were so connected. The adults enjoyed having New Years eve parties together and covering each others backs in times of snow storms, illnesses and borrowing cups of sugar, etc. June gave Rob his first hair cut. We have a picture and Mom actually kept a lock of his hair with your Mom listed as his first hair stylist. (the things we find!)
Anyway, just wanted to say how sorry I/we are to hear of your Mom's passing. We appreciated Glenn coming to Mom's wake in April. I am just sorry that I couldn't be there for June. Know that you are in our thoughts.

We are so sorry for your family's loss of your dear Mom. Your Mom was certainly a very special Friend to our family. We will never forget her delicious fruitcakes she made for our Weddings. She also gave them to Mom & Dad yearly for Christmas time. We fondly remember how much time your Mom spent with our parents.
