With apologies for being late in writing this to all Greg's friends and family. So much time passes and then life gets away on us. I have been out west now for over 20 years but of course always have big wishes to return home to live. And now Greg is no longer with us.I finally got to know Greg as an adult only a few years ago when I visited him at his home after his accident, and then last winter when I was staying in Baddeck I had the opportunity to get to know him so much better when he was in hospital there. I could tell he had had a life full of hilarious fun but committed to big responsibilities prior to his accident and I know everyone wished to share in that with him now. But he certainly had a core of courage and hope that so many of us struggle to obtain. He loved to read woodworking magazines and books and then last summer I found a nice glossy woodworking book to bring to him next time I would be home. Alas my trip could not be until later this winter because the storms and airport problems have been so bad these past two months. It is such a tragedy to see this happen to such a vibrant young, yes young, man in his prime as a loved leader in the community and who had so much to give to everyone for so many years ahead in his life. My heart goes out to Norma and Bobbie and Connie and Erin who struggled and felt for him for all these difficult months. Much love from Glennis
