Tom and all of Doug's family; I worked with Doug at the M&N family on and off for the last 7 years, the last being Cornach Sask. He was a stand up humble guy, a hard worker and strong as an ox (he had a heck of a handshake). The one thing Doug taught me - haddock is way way better then cod and he was so right. Laura, Pauline, Wendy, Lezlie, Tom, Melda, Janet, Tanya. I cannot tell you how shocked and saddened I was to hear of Doug's passing. We "The Guys" spent many hours together growing up doing so many things. We did things that were fun, things that were not so fun, and even things that were downright silly. Doug was one of my best friends and I will cherish all the memories I have. I'm so sorry I can't be there in this trying time, but you will all be in my thoughts and prayers. To The Family of Doug Rose: Doug was a true friend and a great person , Doug and I had many laughs on the pipeline when we were working, specially when Dave and Nettie would show up, it was entertainment that money couldn't buy. I don't think I ever heard Doug say no to anything he had to do. We talked lots about family and friends that we left behind to work on the pipeline and of the fishing boats he had work on and of the good friends he had worked with. Doug became one of the inner people in M&N Pipelines, a person who could be counted on to get the job done, Doug will be sadly missed , I know I will miss him a lot, so Doug may the sun warm your back and keep you warm.
