Sincere sympathy to all family members on Martin's passing. It is a sincere sense of loss for Martin to be gone from our community. I am so sorry I missed getting to the visitation and funeral. I was not aware about his passing until the day of the funeral. I will be making a donation to the Strait Regional School Board Breakfast for Learning in his memory.

To the Beaton siblings, so very sorry to learn of the passing of your dear brother, we know you will miss him very much. I'm Leonard Martell's daughter. Tommy, Jason and family, I am so sorry to hear of Marty's passing. I remember Marty running against my dad, Paul Page in the NDP election. They both had great passion for politics and the fairness of fellow man. I too, lost my father to cancer in March and he was 66. May your memories hold you up during this time of loss. I first met Marty at a union convention in the early 1990's in Quebec city. First impression - an instantly likeable guy. Although I only met him occasionally at other union events after that, I have never forgotten him. My deepest sympathies to all his family. He was a great person.
