I was so sorry to hear of Janet's passing. I got to know and respect Janet working in addiction treatment. She was a wonderful, kind, compassionate asset to the team at Strait-Richmond PCU, where she made a huge difference in the lives of clients. She was always gracious, insightful and collaborative. There is no way to measure the good that is done by people like Janet, but we can be sure that it was immense. May Janet rest in peace, and her family be comforted knowing that she truly made a difference in this world.

It was a sad day to hear the news of Janet passing.I only knew her for a short time when my work with Elderdog brought us to Janet,when we placed Mickey with her for company and love.She was so special and had a lot of love to give to one of our senior dogs.When her illness returned she called me to come get Mickey and asked me to look after him that he was so special.I stayed in touch with Janet through visits and e-mail concerning Mickey and her biggest worry was not to place him again,for me to keep him.Mickey held a place in Janet big heart and I will always remember how special a lady she was.My deepest sympathy to the family at this difficult time.Janet will live on through a little piece of everyone she met.

I am so sorry to hear of Janet's (Duckie) passing. I was glad to have connected with her and Bernie a few years ago and went to breakfast with them and Joey (I am his daughter)and to learn that my husband and I shared the same wedding anniversary as your parents.....I remember her from when I was a little girl and was glad to reconnect with her as an adult. She is now at peace and will be happy to know that she will now be joining your Dad and the rest of her siblings. Take Care and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. To the MacIntyre Girls & Family, So sorry to hear of Janet's passing. What a great neighbor's the MacIntyre's were in Tamarac Heights.Your Mom was so kind and loving.
