To the family of the late Arley S. Ashe. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt sympathy in the passing of Mr. Ashe. I want you to know that I feel terrible and I will tell you why. I am a senior and I don't know very much about computers so I don't know how it happened - I must have accidentally touched something I didn't mean to - accidentally hit the button to accept his friendship request, or something, but Arley became one of my FaceBook friends, almost from the time I joined FaceBook. I didn't know anybody names Arley Ashe so I just ignored him. I recognized his name and photo as soon as it saw it in today's paper and now I feel terrible. He probably just wanted someone to chat with online and I ignored him. It brings to mind a scripture passage. I can't quote book, chapter and verse but I can quote the passage. Jesus said, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." I have apologized to you, his family but that will not undo the injustice I did to Arley. I feel terrible and I ask you to accept my apology and my sincere sympathy in his passing. The best thing I can do for Arley now is to promise that I won't let it happen again - ever.
