Obituary of Lisa Marie Toney

She was born on January 22, 1976, in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Dennis Francis and the late Marguerite Toney (Chickie), Pictou Landing.
She was a resident of We'koqm'aq First Nation for 30 years of her life. Lisa loved her family more than anything in this world. If Lisa wasn't cruising around while holding hands with her love, Moe, you would find her at any sports event cheering on her family. She never missed a chance to be at the ballfield to watch Moe, Randy, Owen, and Lindon play. She also enjoyed watching Kayla play volleyball. She was their biggest cheerleader. A year ago, Lisa got one of her biggest wishes to become a grandmother. You could see how much love Lisa had for her granddaughter Maven. She always had the biggest beaming smile when she would spend time with Maven. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, and destroying everyone in candy crush.
