Obituary of Terrance Michael Peck

Please share a memory of Terrance to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

PECK, Terrance Michael “Terry” – It is with deepest sadness and regret that we announce the sudden passing of a great hardworking man, Terrence “Terry” Peck age 57, on Friday, October 25, 2024, in the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in North Sydney on July 24, 1967, he was the son of the late Michael and June (Bernard) Peck.

Terry was a great, kind man with a heroic heart and a smile and wink for everyone. Always made sure you were ok. Many will miss his good morning texts. Terry had a deep love for the people in his life especially his children and grandchildren and for the love of his life, Cynthia Bernard. He would have done anything for them.

Terry was the hardest working man starting with pulping with his father and siblings in his younger years. He was also a heavy machinery operator and worked at the Louisbourg Crab Plant and his latest project was the construction of the new elder’s complex in Wagmatcook. He was also a proud painter. He never left a job undone until he had to now. Terry will be missed by his church family.

Terry is survived by his common law wife, Cynthia Bernard; his children of which he was very proud, Cornelia Peck, Mark Simon, Terry Peck Jr., Colton Peck, Brendon Peck (Bundy) and daughter-in-law, Helen Bernard; grandchildren, Cheyanne, Dae, Angie, Abby, Angel, Penny and was excited to meet his new granddaughter on the way. He is also survived by siblings, Howard, Maynard, Douglas, Roy, Mary Lou, Norma, Allison and his best friend and brother, Charles “Chuck”; godchildren, Marilyn Peck and Zedaya Peck. Terry was predeceased by his parents, Michael and June Peck; siblings, Margaret and Malcolm.

We would like to send our heartfelt thanks to the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital Emergency Dept and also to the Medical First Responders and also thank you to Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Ltd. for all your help and kindness.
