Oh how a place lit up when Hubba entered, danced, wheeled or laughed her way into a room with Joe close beside her! A card game in Georgina's kitchen always stepped up a notch! The dance floor waled with laughter and love as she and Joe joined in. She knew how to leave a person feeling a little better after seeing her!! Everytime I start my dishwasher I hear a wee chuckle in my ear and begin making "bubbles" and smile! Halloween will never be the same after she showed up in a pair of your overalls with pillows stuffed in, making her look as wide as she was tall! She rolled down the hill in front of my parents home ready to get Stella to join her trick or treating at Georgina and Normans. She made me promise to never tell that story Joe until she after she'd gone to heaven with a strict look that I'd be chasing my own demise if I did!!
Let your memories of her joy and love carry you through this journey ahead Joe, Vince and Paul. She is with her' boys' in heaven and someday when it is your time she will be waiting. Hubba would want you to make more memories with your sons, grandbabies, family and friends!
Ask God to carry you Joe, Vince & Paul and He will as you carried her these past few years!
Make God sing, dance & laugh Hubba!! Love Darlene, Corey and all the Warner family!!

Our family lived next door to Joe and Hubba. She was a fixture at our kitchen table for many, many years. She had the best sense of humour; and even when she was cross about something, you couldn’t help but laugh at her version of the situation. She was so good to Mom. And mom thought the world of her. I loved to babysit for her - they lived just across the driveway from our house. Her boys were so well behaved, and she had the best collection of Merle Haggard records, I couldn’t wait to put them on the turntable after they left! She was fierce, but kind and generous. She was strict (honestly, she would have to be with four boys!) but fair. And always willing to learn. May she rest in peace and may the good Lord bless and keep her. Condolences to Joe and their family…….. from the family of Norman and Georgina Warner.

My sincere sympathy Joe and family. I remember the laughs we had the year I drove Hubba and Jennie Currie to Christmas Dinner for Red Hatters in Judique. Neither had good health but their laughter and enjoyment of the moment made the evening. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Joe, please accept my condolences on Hubba’s passing. I have such fond memories of you both at our house and you all going out dancing. My parents thought the world of you both as well.
My thoughts are with you all in this difficult time. She was such a kind soul with an incredible laugh. She will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
I will be out of the country for her memorial but I will be thinking of you all. Please stop by for a visit when you feel up to it.

I remember Hubba as a lunch supervisor when I was in grade school. I always looked forward to seeing her. She was so kind to me even many years later when I’d see her. She always had a huge smile. . She was a sweet lady. Condolences to all her loved ones especially Joe and Vince. Rest in peace Hubba!
