Sympathy to all the family. I was surprized to hear of Don's sudden passing. When I walked the Port Hawkesbury Trails, I often saw Don also enjoying the trail. I will miss our interesting chats. Happy Trails.

A few photos that captures some of our memories over the years. The group photo captured all Don’s brothers and sisters. There is a photo of Don and his niece, Kathy, and Don with his sister, Elaine. The older photo is Don with his siblings, Leo, Doreen and Elaine and one of the younger kids that we think is Glen. Don had a beautiful smile and beautiful personality. We will miss him.

Edna, Sheldon, Matt and family...
So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I met him after going to the mill and he became one of the best friends I had. We had many good chats over the years and he had one of the best Mechanical minds I have ever met. His memory and problem solving were the best. Sometimes his job at the mill was like herding sheep and he did a fantastic job, never getting excited or angry. He was a special person and will be truly missed.

My condolences to Edna, Sheldon, Pam and the grandkids. I have many fond memories of Don but I will always remember how happy he would be to see us come visit and you couldn’t leave without eating a big feed. I also remember running into Don and Edna on the ferry and they invited me to share their cabin. There was no taking no for an answer. I can picture Don in his chair watching his hockey and the smile on his face. I can imagine the heavenly homecoming he received. I will miss him. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers Edna and family.

My favorite memory is having visited Don and Edna during Christmas and seeing Sheldon and Devon as well. I had a great time playing pool with him and the rest of the family during my visit. It was nice to spend the holidays together which we seldom had the opportunity to do. I will cherish those memories. He was loved beyond measure.
