GREENCORN, Karen Colleen - Age 67, Half Island Cove, Guysborough Co., passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Antigonish, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Wilda (Hendsbee) Williams.

Karen was a very loving mother, "nanny", wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was the baby of 10 children and loved her family very much. She was so excited and proud of her grandchildren and other people's grandchildren, the family home is full of photos of everyone. Karen was also well known for her uncanny ability and desire to give everyone she met very specific and silly nicknames.

She is survived by her husband, Donald, children, Christopher and Nadine; grandchildren, Eva, Emmett and Maisie as well as many nieces and nephews; siblings, Lawrence, Patricia, Violetta, Rene and Albert. She was predeceased by Leslie, Hiram, Vivian and Joyce.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm. on Thursday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 6 in Bayview Cemetery, Half Island Cove. A reception will follow in the Chedabucto Fire Hall.
