Proctor, Jennifer – Port Hawkesbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston.  Born in Antigonish she was the daughter of Merven and the late Florence (MacKenzie) Proctor.

Jennifer is survived by her loving and dedicated father, Merven; sisters, Angela Proctor, Virginia, USA; Cathy (Alan Chandler), Chester; nieces and nephews, Merven, Allison, Matthew and Mark.  She is also survived by her aunts, Jean Gilmore (Joe), Rose MacIntyre, Anne Proctor, Marjorie VanDooremalen and uncle, Angus MacKenzie (Barbara).

Jennifer was a resident of MacLeod Nursing Home, Port Hawkesbury.  The family would like to thank them for their excellent care these past few years.

Cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation.  Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 26 from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Father Joby Augustin officiating.  Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.  Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
