Firstly I'd like to extend my very Sincere Sympathy to Tammy, Timmy and Rachelle and their immediate Families and all of the extended related Families as well that were near and dear to Eddie. Both myself and my 2 daughters were so forever Grateful to have shared so many great times with both Eddie and Florence and precious memories that will last a lifetime. Eddie was always the polite professional statesman and when he spoke he had so many interesting stories to tell. On many occasions during my bike rides to Fox Island I would drop-in and he would drop everything he was doing and knowing I was a bit of a "local history-buff" he would take the time on the back deck to educate me about anything and everything related to the history of Canso and the local Guysborough community areas. I certainly didn't need to read any local books because Eddie knew everything with 110 % certainty and clarity, and I had a front row seat fully immersed in his total detail of every story and the historical facts that he related to me without ever losing a beat. He taught me a lot about things of interest to me that I still remember to this day 25 years later, and a few extra laughs along the way and then some in between for sure. You have my total Respect and sincere Appreciation Eddie for sharing your immense knowledge and your personal perspective on life with me, and even though I'm on the other side of the World right now, your legacy will live on down the line via your precious children and grand-children and the many other people in life that you were so able to bestow all the great values of a very, very good man that you were in this life and into the next life with Dear Florence.
