MacCormack, Mary Stella – Age 97.  With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Stella MacCormack with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in Windsor Elms Village for Continuing Care.

Stella is survived by her daughters, Jean (Don) Ferguson, N.B., Christina, Dartmouth; sons, Donnie (Alice), C.B., Gerald (Carol Ann), Halifax, Ronnie (Joy), Falmouth and Dennis, Dartmouth and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  Besides her parents, Stella was predeceased by her husband, Alex John and their sons, Bernie, Carl, Johnny and Allan.

Stella was a member of St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church and a member of the C.W.L.

Visitation will be held 2 – 4 p.m and 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 724 Granville Street, Port Hawkesbury.  Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 5 at 1 p.m. in St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Lower River Inhabitants.  Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
