Obituary of Michelle Gale Kennedy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle Gale Kennedy on Tuesday, August 27 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital.

She was a loving mother, devoted daughter and caring sister. 

Michelle is predeceased by her parents Michael & Therese Gale. She is survived by her three biological children; Katlynn (Joseph), Luckus (Hailey) and John-Michael Kennedy as well as her three stepchildren; Sheila, Cecilia and Robbie Kennedy. She also leaves behind five step grandchildren; Raelyn, Gabriel, Nolan, Damien and Nevaeh, along with lots of fur grandchildren. As well as her ex-husband who she was married to for 24 years and father of her three children John Kennedy. 

Michelle was born and raised in Piccadilly, Newfoundland where she was the youngest of three siblings; Brent (Janice) Gale, Elizabeth (Junior) Beniot and Therese (James) Hunt. Along with many nieces and nephews. 

Michelle was a very big family person and will be dearly missed by all of those that knew her. She was a very welcoming, caring and kind person. The world will be a darker place without her. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 2 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 724 Granville Street from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 4p.m. with Deacon Berkley Guthro officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.  Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
