It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lewis William Bennett (Billy). Billy was born September 3rd,1954, from Portage Road, passed away peacefully at the Alderwood Rest Home on Thursday, July 18th, 2024.



Billy had a fulfilling career as a machine operator with Zutphen Contractors. Billy had a love for animals, enjoyed being outdoors and a good cup of coffee.



Billy leaves behind his son, John William Bennett; sisters, Jessie Margaret Robia (William), Catherine Beaton and Christena Campbell (John Murdock) and many nieces and nephews. Billy is predeceased by his parents Pearl and Louis Bennett, brother-in-law Bernie Beaton,

nephew, Jason Campbell and nieces, Jesslyn, Jennifer and Suzanne Campbell.



The family would like to thank neighbors Bob MacLean, Malcolm MacPherson, all the wonderful staff at Alderwood Rest Home, along with Dr. Ritter and Paula. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Ltd. A private family service will be held at a later date.
