PELLEY (WORTH), Marie Catherine – Age 82 of Guysborough, formerly North Ogden, Guysborough Co. It is with deep sorrow that we announce her passing on Wednesday May 29, 2024 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in North Ogden, on August 17, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Annie (Jones) Worth. She was a member of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough.

1985 she began a career with Canada Post delivering mail along the rural route from Guysborough to Half Island Cove until her retirement in 2006.

Marie loved playing cards, especially 45s, and attended card parties as often as she could and would never miss an opportunity to suggest having a hand of cards whenever people visited. She loved country music and often sang along with her husband Bill as he played guitar and sang for family and friends.
