Margaret Agatha “Gay” Boudreau
Age 86 years
Little Dover, Guysborough County
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom and Grandmother on Sunday, February 4, 2024 in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso.
Gay as she was called, lived in Little Dover most of her life. She loved to sew, knit, and do puzzle books. She worked at Canso Fish Plant until her retirement.
She is survived by sons, Duffield ‘Duff’, Wayne (Bonnie); grandchildren, Kylie (Adam), Jarek, Matthew (Betsie), Gillian (Ken); great-grandchildren, Kimberley, Alana, Justin, Alex, Emma, and Blake; sisters, Marilyn (Jim), Estie (Eldon), Norma (Chris), Carol Ann; sister-in-law, Marg; brother -in-law, Tom; as well as many nieces and nephews. Gay was predeceased by her husband Albert; son, Chess; her parents, Fred and Rose Boudreau; sister, Beatrice; brothers, Jerome, Ted, Hughie, Murdock, Garnet, Laurier; brothers -in-law, Melvin Dixon, Gary Snow, Albert Snow.
I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Eastern Memorial Hospital for the care they gave to Mom; also the doctor’s nurses at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital I.C.U. and Palliative Care Units as Mom spent time in both Units, thank you to Canso Seaside Manor staff for the care they gave to Mom. Thank You too all.
Cremation has taken place, at Mom’s request there will be no visitation or service. Burial will take place at a later date.
