My sincere condolences to Benita's family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
I met Benita when I was 7 years old. (That is a long time ago). My grandmother's house was next door to hers, and I used to play outdoors with her and her brothers each summer when I visited Whycocomagh.
As time went on and we grew older I saw her less often, but we kept in touch through email and messenger.
I was saddened to hear of her passing. Benita was my friend for over 60 years and I am proud to have known her.
