MALCOLM, Emily Ann – 1942-2023. Emily passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2023, after a long illness with dementia. She was the youngest of 11 children of Rose and Henry Malcolm. Emily is survived by her sisters, Elsie Michaud, Catherine Armstrong, Margaret “Peggy” Malcolm and Elizabeth Tighe. She was predeceased by brothers, William, John, Clifford and Cecil; sisters, Mary and Eunice. She has many nieces and nephews and lots of cousins and friends, some still in Port Hawkesbury and in Toronto.

Emily worked for many years for Economical Insurance in Toronto and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Toronto.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 1 p.m. from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Deacon Berkley Guthro officiaitng. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
