Sheila Marie Langley (MacGillivary)

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Marie Langley, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Those that knew her, knew her as a doting wife, mother, and friend to all.

A social butterfly to the very end, she loved playing BINGO and cards with friends, family, her children, and her grandkids, and she had a special unfiltered name for each of them.

She was born to the late George MacGillivary and Charlotte Williams in Sydney, NS on June 20, 1946. She is survived by loving husband Ernest (Jr.) Langley; daughters Dawn MacKinnon, Erin (Theo) MacIntosh, Mindy (Ryan) Williams; son David Langley. She was predeceased by daughter, Wendy Langley.

She is leaving behind grandchildren Meghann, Lucynda, Bree, Kaitlyn, Hudson, Marshall & Isaac.  She is survived by sister Lorna Hedley and many nieces, nephews, & great grandchildren. She was predeceased by twin sister Gloria Crossey; sister Charlotte Helmer; brother Elmer MacGillivary.
