Obituary of Lawrence Malcolm Worth

WORTH, Lawrence Malcolm - Age 58, Lesterdale, Guysborough Co., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday June 21, 2023. Born in Antigonish he was the son of the late Joseph Tompkins and Marion Mae (Horton) Worth.

Larry enjoyed working in the woods his entire life, especially in the last few years when he began his own forestry operation. He also enjoyed his time well spent at the camp with friends and family. Larry took great pride in both his children Kelsey and Cole as well as his sidekick Charlie. He was looking forward to the arrival of his first grandchild.

Surviving are his daughter, Kelsey (Jordan), son, Cole (Maive); nephews, Dylan Worth, Teddy Torrey; brothers, Patrick Worth, Keswick, ON; Brian (Kimberly), Monastery; James Worth, Lesterdale. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronnie Worth and his friends, Ozzie Torrey and Howard.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27 from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough with Father Callistus Abazie officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Parish Cemetery.
