I was saddened to read of Elaine's passing. I have fond memories of Elaine as Hughena's younger sister. I was so pleased to get to know Elaine as a Social Worker in Halifax when she was all grown up. Elaine was a wonderful woman and will be missed my her family and friends. Sorry for your lose Donald and family. Linda(Dixon) MacKinnon

I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Elaine's passing when her brother, Donald, called me. We met at St. F.X. University in 1978 and remained friends all through the years. She was a kind, caring, compassionate, and strong individual whom I shall never forget. My sincere condolences to Donald, his wife, all neices and nephews, and friends. RIP Elaine ..... until we meet again.

I remember growing up and spending nights at her old homestead with her Mom My Aunt Eva , always loved going for walks with her out Ashfield Rd ,playing dolls and oh can't forget the time her being older then me and telling me not to go inside cow fence but me being curious and naughty got chased by bull and fell into a pile of you know what lol lol. Enjoyed the conversations over the years .My deepest Condolences and Sympathy to Donald J and Family, relatives and Friends. R.I.P. Sweet cousin Elaine. Till we meet again.
