Obituary of Florence Cameron

Cameron, Florence - West Bay Road - Age 94. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife/mother Florence Cameron (Riverside Rd.) at the age of 94 on Monday, May 1^st, 2023 at her home. Florence was born in Cleveland, Richmond Co.; she was a daughter of the late John Hughie and Sarah Ann (McDonald) McDonald.

She will be remembered for her excellent baking and her quick-witted humor and endless wisdom of life.

We will all cherish our memories with her and of her, she will remain in our thoughts and prayers with love and laughter.

Florence is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dougald Cameron; daughters, Brenda (Frank Fenech) and Marion (Richard MacDonald). A very proud grandmother to Justin Cameron, Ryan Fenech, and Vanessa Fenech; and great-grandmother to Dylan Cameron. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John Dan McDonald.

Friends may call at Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 724 Granville St., Port Hawkesbury on Tuesday, May 9^th from 2-4 p.m., A celebration of Life will be held following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Florence to St. Martha’s Palliative Care.
