James and I go back many, many years and thru it all never had a cross word between us. He always had my back and I had his. Many talks and consultations about our communities, the environment, family and our culture. We always looked ahead at the positive. When we worked on putting up the Lincolnville Community Center, during a winter works project and the men would gather at George Reddick's house and James was the foreman and give out the morning assignments. Albie and Harvey were the mangers and Dolly was the Bookkeeper and I was secretary. There were many laughs on that projects, every Friday, managers were MIA, and James was acting manager. He always did an excellent job no matter what task was given to him. Rest my brother, your work down here is done. Well done my good and faithful servant.

Q: What will you never forget about James?
A: That James n I delivered n developed the Antigonish/ Guysborough learning centre . We had many meetings identifying the necessary tools needed .
