Obituary of Adam John Rhynold

RHYNOLD, Adam John – Age 50, Little Dover, Guysborough Co. With great love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our brother and friend on Saturday, March 4, 2023, in the Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born on November 13, 1972, in Antigonish he was the son of the late Edison and Millie (Munroe) Rhynold.

Adam attended GOALS in Guysborough for over 20 years. He loved his music and video games and watching wrestling. He was loved dearly by all his nieces and nephews and cousins, especially his special niece Melissa Dawn. Also, all the Myatt and Keefe families who treated him like family, especially his “honey” Paula Keefe.

Surviving are his brothers and sister, Edison (Connie), Little Dover; Gerry (Imelda), Port Hawkesbury; Francis (Sheila), Little Dover; Marilyn (Carl), Dartmouth; Leonard (Marilyn), Halfway Cove.

The family would like to at this time extend a sincere thank you to the Dr’s and nurses of Eastern Memorial Hospital and to Dr. Dobek for all the care they provided to Adam.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, March 10 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11 from St. Agnes Parish Hall, Little Dover with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
