Belated condolences to The Family and Friends of John. I got to know John and his wife, Evelyn when I played fiddle at the bi-weekly sessions in Glendale and Creigneish. John and Evelyn were among the finest of the finest of people. Whenever I was driving to play at these events, one of the things I look forward to would be seeing and speaking to them. I played in their home once after John got me over to play for a Christmas concert in Guysborough
Intervale.
RIP John. You are missed.

Evelyn and Janice, you won't know me but I am John's cousin. My cousin Ann Morrow sent me a message to let us know and to pass this on to my father Lawrence. Lawrence would have been John's Uncle as he was Hilda's brother. We have not been back to Nova Scotia for many years but will always have fond memories of the time we visited and met so much extended family.
