It is with a heavy heart that we express our sincere sympathy to Linda’s family. Linda was an everlasting and loving presence in our family home in Port Hawkesbury, always there every week to help my mother and father (Dr. and Mrs, Guzdziol) in the upkeep of the house. It goes without saying that her dedication, her pride in her work, her absolute honesty, her dependability no matter what underlying challenges she faced defined Linda’s persona. Linda went well beyond her duties when my parents needed extra care in their later years, from taking my mother to the hospital in Antigonish, helping with packing, even driving her to the airport. She did so much to help my parents, and her contribution was so much appreciated.
Linda certainly was a much loved one-of-a-kind individual, and she made everyone feel so welcome in her home. It is so true that she will be forever missed, and may she rest in peace knowing that that her life was lived to the fullest.

Comical, matter of fact and familiar even if you hadn't seen her for years, Linda was a force of nature. My Mother often told me that even as a youngster her work ethic was evident and as a girl she came to Antigonish to be with my mother when my brother and I were born. Linda was a women ahead of her time, and through sheer determination, she did it her way. A human to be admired. All my kindest regards, your cousin Tessie.
