Hull, William Gammell (Bill) - 72, Port Hawkesbury,passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 26,2003 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born July 12, 1931 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia He was the son of the Late Thorald R. and Olga (Wadman) Hull. He was 3 former employee of Stora Enso, Point Tupper, Nova Scotia. He was a past member of the IOOF Lodge Glace Bay, and past member of Port Hawkesbury Lions Club and was the first President of the Port Hawkesbury Figure Skating Club. Bill had a wonderful sense of humor and he enjoyed his cottage in Marble Mountain, where he spent many years gardening, boating and working on his projects. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Gooding); daughter, Allison (Melvin) Geddes, New Glasgow; son, Billy (Ruth) Comer Brook, Newfoundland; grandchildren Dean and Emma Hull and Kyle Geddes. Sisters Elaine MacDonald, Nonna (Bert) Finney, Ruby (Stewart) MacPherson, Judy (David) Hodder of Georges River, Cape Breton, Brother Lawrence, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. No visitation. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 30, at 2 PM St. Matthews United Church, Marble Mountain, Cape Breton. Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Burial wilI take place at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date. Reception to follow at the Community Hall in Marble Mountain. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association, Ronald McDonald Charities or Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech.
