Sampson, Yvonne Catherine Age 84 of St. Peter’s, Richmond Co. Passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Sugar Camp, Inverness Co., on November 25, 1937, Mom was a daughter of the late Leonel and Evangeline (Cormier) LeBlanc. Mom is survived by her children, Corrine (Robert), Antigonish; Fonda (Floyd), St. Peter’s; Kiley (Lisa). Dartmouth; special nephew, Blaise (Debbie), Sampsonville; grandchildren, Jason, Joseph, Jessica, Brenden, Jeremy, Shaelyn and Rylen; several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Florence, Doris, Alfreda, Rita, Alice (Bill); brothers, Leo (Claire), Norman (Louise). Besides her parents Mom was predeceased by her husband, Cedric; sister, Emerise. Visitation will take place from 1 - 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 26 Centennial Street, St Peter’s. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, September 1, in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church with Father John Yake officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
