Sterrett, Ray Howard - 94, Loch Lomond, Richmond Co. It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Ray Howard Sterrett on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at home. Ray was born in Wyoming, USA and grew up in Medicine Bow, USA. After completing school, Ray worked for Marathon Oil as an electrician. He met his wife, Kristina whom he married in 1962. Together they operated a Mobile Home Park, called Trailer City in the neighborhood of Sioux City, Iowa. After selling the Mobile Home Park they built their own motor home, traveling all but one of the American states and most of Canada. Along their travels, they fell in love with Cape Breton where they built a home in 1996 and decided to stay for the rest of their lives. Ray was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Kristina and son Michael. He is survived by grandsons, Brandon and Eric Sterrett of Nebraska, USA. According to his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private burial will take place at a later date in MacKeigan Cemetery, Lake Uist.
