WILLIAMS, Charles Thomas - 87, Upper Big Tracadie, Guysborough Co., died Monday, September 11, 2006, in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born in Upper Big Tracadie, he was a son of the late Alexander and Effie (MacPhee) Williams.
Charlie was a retired labourer. Surviving are daughter, Marilyn Medley, Eastern Passage; son, Randy Ashe, Monastery; stepson, Arley Ashe, Toronto, Ont.; brother, Robert, Monastery; grandsons, Jason Ashe, Sterling Medley. Also, he will be sadly missed by Joyce Kirton, Monastery; Charlene Kirton, Sydney; Nicole (Kirton) Mattie, Smithers, B.C.; Darnell Kirton and Chandra, both of Sydney; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Thomas Ashe; son-in-law, Henry Medley; sister, Mary; brothers, Walter and James.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Tracadie United Baptist Church, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Pauline Coffin officiating, assisted by Deacon Everett Desmond and Deacon Alonzo Reddick. Burial in Sunnyview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
