WILLIAMS, Robert Henry “Bobby” - 76, MacIntyre Lake, died Thursday, February 8, 2007, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Port Hawkesbury, he was the son of the late Harold L and Christine (Morrison) Williams. He was a contractor, a former barber and an owner of Bob Williams Jobbers. He was member of St. Mark’s United Church, Port Hawkesbury, a member of the Strait Area Serenity Club, a member of Solomon Lodge No. 46, a member of Causeway Shrine Club and Royal Arch Masons Keystone Chapter No. 24.
He is survived by wife, Carol Ann (Edwards); daughters, Starr (Donald) Nelson, Port Clyde; Joy (Bob) Scheppler, Knoxville, Tenn.; Dianne Williams (Robert Rhynold), Port Hawkesbury; sons, Robert L. (Suzanne), Peterborough, Ont.; Peter (Blair), Edmonton, Alta.; sister, Beverley Williams, Mount Uniacke; brother, Harold Jr. (Irene), Moncton, N.B.; grandchildren, Natasha, Robie, Heather, Robert L., Robert J., David; great-grandchild, Hayden. He was predeceased by wife, Vivian (Embree); brother, Earl.
Visitation will be held 2-9 p.m. Sunday with a Masonic service being held 7:15 p.m., both in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday in St. Mark’s United Church, with Rev. Wilfred Pelley officiating. Burial in Southbrook Cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only, please.
