Warner, Edward Burton – 77, Pirate Harbour, Guysborough County, passed away peacefully surrounded and loved by all his family on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Steep Creek, Guysborough Co., Ed was a son of the late Charles and Maude (Wheaton) Warner. Ed was a truck driver for Texaco and Anderson’s Lobster Pound. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Melong); daughters, Ruth (Eric), Angela (John), Donna (Tony); son, Eugene (Darlene); sisters, Anne, Eva, June, Rowena, Sophronia, Nina; brother, Jimmy; grandchildren, Bryan, Chelsea, Matthew, Lorri, Trevor, Alexander and Riley. He was predeceased by his step-father, Jim Jamieson; sister, Jean; brother, Roy.
There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday from St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave, with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial at a later date. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made in Ed`s memory to St. Lawrence Church, St. Martha`s Regional Hospital Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
