MacIVER, Harold Vance 'Hal' - Orangedale, passed away suddenly in Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at the age of 37 years. He was born in Inverness Hospital on August 25, 1967. He attended school in Whycocomagh, where he was raised. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Harold MacIver (Florence), Medicine Hat, Alta.; Louise MacKinnon-Durling (Steven), Middle Musquodoboit; sisters, Sherry MacIver and Anita Overs (Doug); nephew, Baby Cole, all of Halifax; stepbrother, Patrick; stepsister, Stephanie, Orangedale. Harold's memory will be cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him. Visitation will be in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh, from 4-9 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, with funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday, in the Orangedale Presbyterian Church, Rev. Dr. Floyd McPhee officiating. Burial to follow at a later date. Donations in memory of Harold may be made to Canadian Liver Foundation, Halifax Chapter.
