WILLCOTT, Donald James - 76, Mulgrave, originally from Baie d'Espoir, NL, died peacefully at home Tuesday, November 22, 2005. He was born in North Sydney, June 8, 1929. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Mary (Skinner) Willcott; his children, Dominic (Cecile) Willcott, Edmonton, Alta.; Frances (Anthony) Crant, Mulgrave; Madonna Mooring (Philip Organ), Baie d'Espoir, NL; Lucy Kendall, Ottawa, Ont.; Georgina Fitzpatrick, Dartmouth; Lionel Willcott (Christine Norman), Embrun, Ont.; Linda (Donald) Williams, Havre Boucher; sisters, Catherine, Myrtle, and Eileen; brothers, Howard, Louis, Mike, Ron, and Pius, residing in Newfoundland; Eddie, residing in Toronto; grandchildren, Nicole, Jenna, Ryan, Anthony, Duane, Donnie, Michael, Tracy, David, Jacob, Cheryll, Eric, Briana, Hailey, Braeden, Cody, and Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Schuyler, Quiana, Isaiah, Madison, and Kristen. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary; his son, Joseph; brothers, Alec, Gordon, and William; infant grandsons, Taylor and Tyler Williams. He will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humour, his devotion to his wife, family and friends, and his love of life.
His family will receive friends to pay their respects from 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave, Rev. Peter McLeod officiating, with burial in the parish cemetery. A reception will follow in Mulgrave Fire Hall. Donations may be made to Mulgrave and Area Resting Place or a charity of choice.
