Myatt Myles Phillip 17, Upper Whitehead, Guysborough, Co. passed away Friday, January 26, 2007 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Antigonish, on Nov. 2, 1989 he was a son of Robert Myatt and the late Janice (Grover) Myatt. Myles was an active member of ST. Joseph’s Parish, Port Felix. He was a grade 11 student at Canso Academy and was also a member of the school hockey team. Myles loved hockey and was a member of the Canso and Area Minor Hockey Bluefins, midget team, and an avid fan of The Montreal Canadiens. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his family sailing in their boat and spending time at the family camp near Little Dover. Myles is survived by brothers Robbie, Wolfville and Jonathan at home; girlfriend, Jen.McKee, North Sydney; paternal grandparents Gerard and Marion Myatt, Little Dover; maternal grandparents Douglas and Daisy Grover, Upper Whitehead; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-9 p.m. Thursday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held 11a.m. Friday from The Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Canso. Fr Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph’s parish, Port Felix. Reception to follow in the Canso fire hall. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
