WATERS, Georganna - 100, Blues Mills, Inverness Co., died Thursday February 24, 2011 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Skye Glen, Inv. Co., she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ann (MacKinnon) Beaton. She was a homemaker and a member of Stewart United Church, Whycocomagh, United Church Women and Dr. Gordon MacLeod Chapter O.E.S. She is survived by daughter, Marylee (Bobby) Morrison, Blues Mills; son, Winston "Butch" (Frances), Sydney; grandchildren, Cecil (Jaye) Morrison, Douglas Waters, Carol (Henry) Mousek, Christa Waters; great-grandchildren, Nickolas, Justin, Marlee, Cailee Mousek, Brett Waters, Logan, Morgan Morrison, Russell Brooking-Waters; daughter-in-law, Tene Waters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil, son, Albert "Abbie" Waters. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Saturday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in Stewart United Church, Rev. Donna Tourneur officiating. Burial will be in Stewartdale Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
