TOUESNARD, Gladys Ann - 88, River Bourgeois, died Sunday, July 9, 2006, Richmond Villa, St. Peter's. Born in Thibeauville, Richmond Co., she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Margaret Ann (Boudreau) Thibeau.

Gladys was a homemaker and a bookkeeper with the former River Bourgeois Telephone Company and the River Bourgeois Credit Union. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish, River Bourgeois, and a founding member of the C.W.L.

Surviving are daughters, Nicole (Ron) Moore, Hammonds Plains; Janine (Robert) Durning, Dartmouth; son, Paul (Elia), Ottawa; sisters, Virginia Sampson, St. Peter's; Sister Madeline Thibeau, CSH, Halifax; Estelle (Reg) Bennett, Brantford, Ont.; Nonnie Thibeau, Burlington, Ont.; grandchildren, Andrea, Michael, Marc, Daniel, Sonia. She was predeceased by her husband, David; brothers, Edgar, Richard "Dick", Louis, Cossie.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Father Everett MacDow officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.

A special thank you to the staff of Richmond Villa for their wonderful care, kindness and thoughtfulness, making Gladys' last days peaceful.
