Steele, John Bernard “Butch” -- 41, Calgary, AB, formerly of Port Hawkesbury passed away suddenly at home Monday, February 19, 2007. Born in Glace Bay, he was a son of Joe and Alexis (MacDonald) Steele, Port Hawkesbury.

Butch was employed as a welder.

He is survived by twin daughters Amanda and Ashley both at home sons Trevor, James and JB all at home. Brothers Charles (Darlene), Saint John, NB; Paul, Calgary; Vince (Amanda), Janvrians Island.

There will be no visitation by family request. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 10, at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of “Butch” may be made to a charity of ones choice.
