Sterrett, Kristina "Kris" Marie, age 84, Loch Lomond, Richmond Co. It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Kris Sterrett on Friday, February 19, 2016 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Kris was born in Sioux City, Iowa; she was the only child of the late Eric and Olava (Petersen) Albertson. Kris was a self employed businesswoman. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ray; grandsons, Brandon and Eric Sterrett, both of Nebraska, USA; many friends and acquaintances. Loving the Cape Breton scenery and weather Kris and Ray moved to Loch Lomond in 1996. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her son, Albert Michael Sterrett (April 13, 2015). Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, followed by a funeral service at 4p.m. with Rev. Carolyn V. MacLeod, officiating both to take place in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 26 Centennial St., St. Peter’s. Burial at a later date in MacKeigan Cemetery, Lake Uist.
