Sheila Marina MacPhail Obituary

MacPHAIL, Sheila Marina - 70, Newton Highlands, Mass., U.S.A., formerly of East Lake Ainslie, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, July 23, 2006. Born in East Lake Ainslie, she was the youngest daughter of the late David and Annie (Butterworth) MacKinnon.


She is survived by sons, Russell Robert (Christine), Dedham, Mass.; David Charles, Newton Heights; grandchildren, Michael, Benjamin, and Matthew. She will be missed by sisters, Agnes Meely, St. Catharines, Ont.; Mary (Bill) Egan, Kanata, Ont.; Irene MacKinnon, Sydney; Cindy (Stewart) Munro, Whycocomagh; brother-in-law, James Birmingham, Brockville, Ont.; sisters-in-law, Doris MacKinnon, Sydney; Joan MacKinnon, Inverness. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell; sister, Lena; brothers, Lauchie and Edgar; brothers-in-law, Phil Meely, Allister MacKinnon.


Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, July 30, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Alexander Grant Memorial United Church, East Lake Ainslie, Rev. Donna Tourneur officiating. Burial will be in East Lake Ainslie Cemetery. Donations in memory of Sheila may be made to Alexander Grant Memorial United Church, East Lake Ainslie Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
