SAMPSON, Kenneth Jude -61, Lower L’Ardoise, left this world on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 while surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Albert and Madeline Sampson and a special son-in-law to Dorothy Sampson and the late Alonzo Sampson. He is survived by his wife, Cathy; daughter, Kara, Halifax; brothers, Clark, L’Ardoise; Glenn (Alana), Dartmouth; Gary (Valerie), Glace Bay; brothers-in-law, Danny Sampson, Halifax; Gerry (Denise) Sampson, Glace Bay; sisters-in-law, Linda Sampson ( Reg MacKay), Summerside, PEI; Paulette (Gale) Butz, Lower Sackville; and many nieces and nephews, especially his goddaughter, Breagh. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and support staff of the VG Hospital, Halifax (Wards, 3B, 6B, 3A), and to the staff at Richmond Villa for their kindness they showed to Kenny and his family during his illness. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in Holy Guardian Angels Funeral Home, L'Ardoise on Sunday, November 27 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 28, at 1p.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, L’Ardoise with Fr. Mariadoss Lourdusamy officiating. Burial in Holy Guardian Angels Parish Cemetery. Donations in Kenneth`s memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the Activity Dept of Richmond Villa, St. Peters.
