Simon James Pelley, 86, Guysborough, died December 24,2003, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Tompkinsville, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late James and Laura Pelley. He was a retired labourer and a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough. He is survived by sisters, Eva Scott, London. Ont.; Margaret Boudreau, New Glasgow; brothers, Leo and William (Marie), Guysborough; also surviving is a very special niece, Wanita Morrison (Pelley) and her children, Sylvia and Jeremy Charita with whom he resided; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Nina, Charlotte) Violet and Mabel; brothers, Russell and Lloyd. Visitation will be held 2-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, December 27, in St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough, Rev, Will MacPherson officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Ann's Cemetery fund or Guysborough Memorial Hospita1. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
